Welcoming Michele Wittling

rounded cropped Susan Roberts Alex Banker Wm Travis 11 29 15 (7)We welcome Ms. Michele Wittling as our new Executive Director!  We are pleased to have Michele join the Fleischner family, and look forward to working with her in our continued efforts to fulfill the mission of our organization.

Ms. Wittling is an association professional with more than seventeen years of experience working for the American College of Radiology.  Since 2006 she has been a senior member of the ACR Association Services department serving as the Executive Director for multiple radiology subspecialty societies.  She has successfully led organizations ranging in size from 300 to 2,500 members with budgets up to $1.5M.  Ms. Wittling has extensive experience working with society boards and volunteers to develop innovative programs to expand the reach of the organization.  She is a skilled budget manager and has led multiple societies to improved financial results.  From 1998 to 2006 as an Assistant Director in the Education department, Ms. Wittling was responsible for the program development for ACR clinical education meetings.  She worked with faculty to create CME programs, managing the process from concept to implementation and evaluation.  Prior to joining the ACR she worked for Loudoun County Public Schools.

Ms. Wittling holds a BIS in Social Studies from George Mason University and completed course work for a Master’s in Education. She is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and an active participant in continuing education activities.
